F A Q's

  • What type of tents do you have?

 Pole Tents - 20'x20', 20'x30', 20'x40'
Frame Tents - 20'x20', 20'x30', 20'x40'

  • What are the differences between Pole Tents and Frame Tents?

Pole tents are supported by pole(s) in the center and stakes around the perimeter of the tent.  The Pole tent must be placed on fairly level grass.

Frame tents are free standing with no center poles.  They do not need to be staked along the perimeter of the tent which allows them to be placed on patios/decks as well as grass.

Please look at our "Rentals" sub-page to see further explanation and photos.

  • How many people can you fit under your tents?

20x20  32-50 ppl, 4-5 tables 8-10 chairs to a table
20x30  48-70 ppl, 6-7 tables 8-10 chairs to a table
20x40  64-100 ppl, 8-10 tables 8-10 chairs to a table

***Please keep in mind.  Unless you are having a sit down dinner you do not need to provide seating for every guest.  People eat and sit at different times depending on the party. We normally recommend seating for 2/3 the number of guests you are expecting.  Many times when you have too much seating, it will leave you with some empty tables, making the event appear empty.***

  • What other items can you provide?

We have sidewalls for tents, tables, chairs, patio heaters and lights available should you need them for your event.  Please refer to the Products/Prices page for information about pricing and sizes.

  • Are Sidewalls necessary?

They are necessary in the fall, winter, and early spring.  They keep heat from escaping the tent.  We do not recommend sidewalls during the warmer months.  When a tent has all four sides on, there is no air circulation thus getting hot and humid like a steam room, especially when there is a large number of people under the tent.  They can be used in summer months for privacy but we would suggest leaving as many sides open as possible.

  • What if it rains?

Our tents will protect you from the rain.  Sides are not necessary to protect you from the rain.  Sides are used usually in conjunction with heaters to keep heat in the tents and the wind out.
